Learning

Our vision is for our tamariki to grow and learn alongside our staff; Learning as One, Growing together as One - Kia ako tahi, Kia tupu tahi.

The continuing development of a new localised curriculum will provide the opportunity to address our goals, focus on what is important to us and our community, while also providing opportunities to create a curriculum that is relevant, engaging, and is tailored for our tamariki. It is our aim to provide a curriculum that meets our students needs, developing them as confident, connected, actively involved lifelong learners.

Due to the changes with the phases of the curriculum, the school has undertaken restructuring of syndicates for 2024 and beyond, to align with the new curriculum levels and ensure that effective and consistent progressions are monitored across the school.

Staff will continue to consolidate their knowledge and undertake further PLD as required. Staff will use implementation and monitoring of target groups to address identified needs.
